Compliance evidence
Know how compliance-ready you are before the auditor does.
Enterprise buyers ask for SOC 2, ISO 27001 or industry frameworks such as PCI DSS and HIPAA before they sign. Sentrasec turns the security work you already do into evidence mapped to those controls, from the first commit.
Compliance is usually written up afterwards
For most teams, compliance is a project that starts when a customer asks for a report. Someone then reconstructs months of security work from tickets, chat threads and scanner exports, and finds the gaps too late to fix them calmly.
For a product built quickly, that gap matters more. The first large customer is often the moment the question is asked, and “we will have it next quarter” loses the deal.
If the work and the evidence are the same thing, the evidence exists the moment the work is done, and you can see where you stand at any time.
The work is the evidence
Every action is a record
Scans, triage decisions, remediation plans and re-scans are kept as records with who did what and when.
Mapped to controls
Records are mapped to the SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, HIPAA, GDPR and DORA controls they support, so you can see coverage per framework and per project.
Gaps while they are cheap
Because the mapping runs during development, a missing control shows up while the product can still change, not during the audit.
Exceptions with an end date
Accepted risks are recorded with a reason and an expiry, so an exception does not quietly become permanent.
How it works, step by step
01
Pick your frameworks
Choose the frameworks that apply to each project: SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, HIPAA, GDPR and DORA.
02
Work as normal
Scan, triage and fix through the console, the CLI or your coding agent.
03
Watch coverage
See which controls have evidence and which do not, per project.
04
Hand it over
Give your auditor the records instead of a reconstruction.
What it does not do
- Sentrasec does not certify you. A SOC 2 report or ISO 27001 certificate comes from an independent auditor.
- It covers the controls your application security work supports. Policies, HR and physical controls are outside it.
Questions
Will Sentrasec make us SOC 2 compliant?
No tool can. Sentrasec produces evidence for the application security controls and shows the gaps; an independent auditor issues the report.
When should a new product start collecting evidence?
From the first commit. Evidence that exists from day one is cheaper than evidence reconstructed later, and the gaps are easier to close early.
Does this replace our compliance platform?
No. It supplies the application security evidence that a compliance platform or an auditor would otherwise ask your engineers to collect by hand.
See it on your own code
Bring a repository or a release you are about to ship. We will scan it, triage the findings and show you where it stands for security and compliance.
